NL Knives is a boutique knife workshop built around craftsmanship, creativity, and the art of custom knifemaking. Founded by two skilled makers, the workshop focuses on limited and exclusive knives that combine classic design language with modern materials, premium steels, and highly detailed handwork.
Each NL Knives piece is created with a strong sense of character. Many models are produced in very small numbers, and some are made as true one-of-a-kind knives. Their most exclusive creations may feature hand engraving, sculpted metal details, titanium, copper, gold, silver, custom carbon fiber, Damascus steel, and other rare materials. These knives are not only functional tools, but collectible pieces of art.
Because so much of the process is done by hand, NL Knives produces only about 10 to 15 knives per month. This limited production allows the makers to give each knife the time and attention it deserves, from the first sketches and design concepts to the final assembly, sharpening, inspection, and adjustment.
NL Knives often uses premium powder steels, select Damascus steels, titanium alloys, custom carbon fiber, and exotic handle materials chosen for strength, texture, and visual appeal. Every knife is hand-ground, hand-sharpened using Japanese sharpening tools, assembled by hand, and carefully inspected for smooth action, reliable performance, and refined presentation.
