Perfect edc size. Nice traditional tanto blade. Don’t know much about the blade steel…only time will tell.

Received my scar today! well made and nicely finished knife. makes a decent size slicing knife and holds an edge good. nice balance and feel in hand. G 10 scales in black and red look nice along with the stonewashed blade. Sheath has good retention and a drain hole in the bottom. Nicely presented in box! Was extremely sharp out of the box! As always arrived on time and and well packed from Russian Knives! thanks for all the great Russian blades and will be adding more to my collection soon!

I am a knife collector and Combat Vet. Most fixed blade knives sold as tactical are too big and too soft. The Scar is a good size. The blade shape allows for an advancing cutting edge. Used inverted it is great knife to fight your way off the ground. IT has great fit and finish. As delivered it was sharp. Not so Sharpe as to hurt yourself. . Made of a German form of 440c steel it will not corrode very easy. The down side is it takes a bit longer to sharpen and will go dull sooner than many steels. All in all I was impressed. Now I shall sharpen it the way I like.

I received my SCAR/N.C. Custom knife and as always found it to be extremely well made, sharp and well fitted. It feels great in the hand, flows through whatever you're cutting, welds to your hand very well. Even the sheath is excellent.
