The TRC Polheim is a compact, fixed-blade outdoor knife inspired by exploration, resilience, and purpose-built design. Build & Materials
The blade is crafted from CPM MagnaCut, one of the most advanced modern stainless steels available. MagnaCut is valued for its rare balance of corrosion resistance, toughness, edge stability, and wear resistance, making it an outstanding choice for a compact outdoor knife.
This version features a stonewashed finish, which adds a practical, field-ready look while helping reduce the appearance of wear from regular use. Underneath the finish, the steel delivers the performance expected from a modern premium fixed blade.
Size & Performance
Polheim is the compact sibling of the larger TRC South Pole model. With a 100 mm blade and an overall length of 214 mm, it offers excellent maneuverability, controlled slicing performance, and lightweight outdoor practicality.
Its size makes it ideal for campers, hikers, anglers, minimalist adventurers, and anyone who wants a compact fixed blade that can handle real outdoor work without unnecessary bulk. It is also easy to carry as an EDC fixed blade for users who prefer a smaller, more capable everyday tool.
Handle & Ergonomics
The knife features full-tang construction, giving it the strength and structural integrity needed for demanding field use. The handle is made from Double Black Micarta, a durable material known for secure grip, stability, and excellent outdoor performance.

Carry System
